Race!
Blackbeards Halloween party and Race!Yesterday we entered our first race. We were supposed to have crew who knew the river and had raced before but it didn't work out so we went just the 4 of us. We got up, prepped the boat, went to the skippers meeting and left the docks at about 10am. Winds were out of the NE at 12-20. It was misting in the early parts of the race and partly cloudy at the finish. We finished third. It was a lot of fun. After the race there was a dinner and then the halloween party at 1900 with a band.
